China-Laos-Kungwan Railway, referred to as "China-Laos Railway", is an electrified railway connecting Kunming, Yunnan Province, China and Vientiane, Laos. It is the first transnational railway that is mainly invested, built, jointly operated and directly connected with China's railway network.
As of April 13, 2024, the first anniversary of the operation of China-Laos Railway international passenger trains, a total of 700,000 passengers have been transported, including 180,000 cross-border passengers from 87 countries and regions.
